The success of any system ultimately depends on the reliability of individual parts. Metal components can be subject to severe stress from impact, pressure, heat and corrosive factors. That’s where M.M.I. comes in. We manufacture castings with expertise, knowledge and today’s technology to withstand the stresses encountered in particular applications.
Molten Metallurgy Inc. (M.M.I.) started operations in 1986 by re-activating and upgrading the facility of Cronite Inc. to produce specialty alloyed castings for applications requiring heat-resistance and wear resistance.
Located in scenic Paris Ontario Molten Metallurgy contains the all the facilities and equipment needed to meet each individual job. Situated on 6 acres of land, the foundy has 11,000 square feet of production space. The melting equipment consists of 5 electric inductions furnaces with capacities from 2000 to 600 pounds. Moulding is done using air set, chemically bonded sand. The cleaning and heat treated area has an electric annealing oven, pedestal grinders, cut off saw, blast cleaning equipment and other miscellaneous items pertaining to casting finishing.
Since its inception M.M.I has been dedicated to the production of top quality, high performance castings. When resistance is called for, M.M.I is equal to the challenge.
